The Underwater Rugby division at CMCs is cancelled for 2016 due to conflicts with the USA UWR schedule. Following is historical information from 2015!

The Rugby Tournament will take place Friday, February 6th through Sunday, February 8th 2015.

The official banquet/party will be Sunday night, with dinner and dancing to follow.  Playing times will be published as the tournament gets closer.

The Rugby area of the pool is 22 yards x 10 yards, 14-16 feet deep, crystal clear visibility and features 3 walls for rugby play (top part of the pool in the picture below).  We will have Scuba available for the referee, must provide cert card.


  • Team Fees:  $650.00 per team, (12) players max per team, includes tournament fees, a T-shirt for each playing team member, and food & drink available at the pool.
  • Sunday Banquet Tickets: $30.00/each –  must be purchased at the time of team registration.


This is an Open Tournament with Co-ed Teams.

To Register your Team for the CanAm Midwestern Championships follow the steps below:

Step 1:

Download the 2015 CMCs Rugby Player Team Roster

Step 2: Fill out sheet electronically (at least the team name/contact info) and email electronic copy back to tournament@canamuwhgear.com

Step 3: Print off Roster Spreadsheet, Mail Spreadsheet along with entry fee cheque to:

Step 4:  Updated player/team rosters must be received by Jan 30th.  Full team player names are not necessary until Jan 30, 2015.

All entries must be received before Dec. 31, 2014 to avoid $100.00 late fee penalty.

Step 5:  USOA/USAUWH Dues must be paid (for US residents) and USAUWH Waivers must be signed (by all participants) and submitted before the tournament begins.  Go to www.usauwh.com for more information.

Step 6:  The CanAm Waiver & Media Release Form must be electronically signed by each player before the tournament begins, and you can do this HERE:

Step 7:   No Waivers – No Play – No Exceptions.

December 31st, 2014- Deadline for entry fee, mailed checks must be postmarked by this date ($100 a team penalty if paid after December 31st).

January 6th, 2014 – Final deadline to participate pending available space, add $100 to team fee’s & Final Team Rosters required for all teams attending.

No team refunds after Jan 7th, 2014.
